First version of the Cloak wallet for Raspberry Pi released

Gambar
The Cloak Team announced the first version of the Cloak wallet for Raspberry Pi. As many of you are aware, low-cost/low-power devices such as the Raspberry Pi will form an important part of the Cloak network and eco-system as the development moves forward. This is the non-graphical version requiring command line use through SSH as the RasPi version is primarily for running a minting process. For those wishing to do some minting/mining of CLOAK you can now offload the process from your desktop and run the RasPi linux daemon (headless) on a Raspberry Pi2 or Pi3 running a 32-bit or 64-bit OS (both versions available, 64-bit for Pi3 only). An 8Gb Class 10 uSD Card is recommended and download/install the Jessie Lite image (no Graphical UI). You will install and run cloakcoind as a headless server. You can even run a script in rc.local to auto load at boot time. As with any CLOAK wallet you wish to mint with, it requires sending some CLOAK to your RasPi wallet as the POS (Proof-Of-Stake)

Will Blockchain revolutionize the Music Industry? VOISE believes it will!

Gambar
Most people who have been in crypto for long time immediately realize there’s something wrong in the distribution model of digital goods. This is very clear when talking about music, but the same flaws affect the whole digital market, from mainstream books to scientific publications, digital artworks and artistic photos. Once you’ve experimented for years the possibilities offered by the p2p technology it is hard to accept a model where a central distributor keeps a larger share of profit for itself not just only for offering a service but rather for taking advantage of its dominant position on the market. This is a fact, the huge level of profit in this industry speaks for itself. To be clear, all the p2p discussion you’ve followed in these years and that led the rise of the Pirate Party in the far 2006 is not about piracy. It is about fixing a broken system. Who does a work has to be compensated, it is a right and there are no doubts about that. What it is hard to understand, and o

Bitbean’s First DNS Seeder Servers Launched

Gambar
Bean Core, core developers of the BitBean Digital Currency and network , have launched new custom DNS servers – that makes it super easy for new users of the network – to stand up new nodes (“Wallets”). Up until now, BitBean has relied on hard-coded nodes in it’s source code, to boot-strap new nodes joining the network. However, nodes come and go, and the original hard-coded nodes in the current release of the BitBean software – are no longer active on the network. This has left many new users joining the network, with only one option – a configuration file with current active nodes. The process of creating and knowing where to place a configuration file, is not always obvious for users of different platforms and different levels of computer literacy. The new DNS seeder servers, allows new users to automatically join their BitBean nodes to the network. The need and confusion of a configuration file and knowing where to find other active nodes is no longer an issue. In the last two w
